LASRDisc
Likelihood Ancestral State Reconstruction for Discrete Characters
Software for the reconstruction of the ancestral states of discrete, binary characters
on phylogenetic trees using the likelihood method.
Available as a stand-alone program, or as a package of modules for Mesquite.

Program
- Current Version: 1.0
A jar file (lasrdisc.jar) that can be run from the command line
on any platform with the Java JRE installed (i.e. Windows, Mac, and Unix).
This jar file also contains the source code and its JavaDoc documentation.
See the User's Manual for more information. This software is free and
can be redistributed and/or modified under the terms of the
GNU General Public License.

Mesquite Package
- Current Version: 1.01
First make sure the most recent versions of
Java and
Mesquite are
installed. Then download and unzip mesquite.lasrdisc.zip,
placing the "lasrdisc" directory inside the Mesquite directory
"Mesquite_Folder/mesquite". The source code can be found in this zip file in the "source" directory.
